missingWrote a review on Dec 13slow check-indirty common areas
I found the check-in process to be quite slow, and it seemed there weren't enough staff to handle the busy periods. The cleanliness of the common areas, especially the BBQ outside the restaurant, was disappointing. The bathroom in our room felt dated and had minor maintenance issues, which detracted from the overall experience.

Room was clean and comfortable with a big bed. The on-site restaurant served delicious jumbo parmi’s! Loved the location right by the historic site. Staff were super helpful, allowing us to leave our car parked while we explored. Cozy atmosphere all around! 😄

the view was lovely, but the bathroom was sadly outdated, a disaster for my pampering. Also, I had to awkwardly stand sideways in the bathtub—how delightful! To top it off, I expected a complimentary gesture for my stay, not even a mini bottle of water was offered. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

amazing view over the historic site, clean bathrooms, large family rooms
The motel feels dated, with aspects like a wardrobe door falling off hinges!!! The poor quality breakfast is of no use, just skipping that entirely saves you some dollars!!!

The location right next to Port Arthur with 'back door' access was a huge plus! Our family room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for everyone. The meals at the restaurant were generous and delicious. Staff members were friendly and super helpful throughout our stay.
Bathrooms felt a bit dated.

Awesome location for exploring!
Loved being so close to the historic site! We checked out the pub food at the restaurant and it was solid—huge portions too! The only bummer was the bathroom felt a bit cramped, which made it tricky to move around. A great stop for families, especially with kids running around!

Totally recommend for short visits
Neat room, comfortable room, with an amazing view of the historic site from the back door and adequate heating. the free wi-fi in rooms made it easier for me to get some work done in the evenings and the location was easy to find, just 200m along Safety Cove Road from the turn off on the Arthur Highway.
No problems at all.

Had an awesome time with friends at this cozy spot! Right by the historic site, making it easy to explore. We enjoyed the generous meals at the restaurant while taking in the lovely views. The friendly staff made our stay even better. Highly recommend the bistro for huge portions!
The only downside we encountered was the shower size—it felt a bit cramped and dated. It didn't spoil our trip, but it was a slight inconvenience.
